EVENT:         Primary Tee Ball

DATE:               Friday 19th March, 2021

VENUE:             Ron Jose Oval, Midvale

COMPETITORS:   Year 5 and under - 1x Boys team, 1x Girls team

TIMES:

• 9.40am – Teacher meeting

• 9.50am – Welcome

• 10.00am – Competition Begins

• 1.45pm – Presentations

• 2.00pm – Close and Dismiss

                                                                                                                                                           

EQUIPMENT (Each school responsible to bring a set of their own clearly labelled):

• 1x Tee

• Tee Ball

• 5x Helmets

• Bats – various sizes (wooden or metal)

• Catcher and short-stop need chest plate and helmet with grill cover over face

• Bases

• Gazebo

• Water – only a small bubbler available

INSTRUCTIONS:

• A team consists of 9 students per game. (You may bring extra players to use in following games).

• Modified rules:  see APPENDIX in WACSSA Folder (provided to School Sport Coordinators)

• ONLY THE TEACHER, OR ONE allocated PARENT is allowed to coach, PER TEAM.

• You may not have parents coaching each base runner, or fielding position.

• It is the teacher’s responsibility to keep their student’s spectators/parents in order, relating to the Christian ethos of WACSSA.

• Spectators are to remain TOGETHER behind THE BATTING TEAM, NOT ON THE FIELD OR IN COACHING POSITIONS.
