• 9.50am – Welcome

• 10.00am – Competition Begins

Instructions:

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Each school is to provide a ball and a referee available for each game. ‘Spare’ referees and substitutes will be asked to act as linesmen.

• Teams will consist of 11 Year 6 players – boys/ girls – best team possible. Players can substitute at any time.Bench consists of 5 players – total team of 16.

• The goalkeeper should have a strip (bib) different to the rest of the team.

• Normal soccer rules apply, including obvious and blatant offside (eg: striker camped and waiting near goalie!). Please note that the new FIFA rule of a “pass back” from the centre kick off will be included. Clarification will be given at the teacher meeting at the start of the day.

• Games will consist of 2 x 15 minute halves, with a 5 minute break at half time and 10 minutes between games. A central siren blast will start and end all games and halves.

• Score cards are to be returned to the WACSSA table at the conclusion of each match.

• All schools will be divided into Divisions, based upon last year’s results. There will be a pennant awarded to the winner of each division.
